It's Wild, it's Life and it's available for you at The Australian Reptile Park, Somersby.

Saturday December 10, 2011

To say we were blown away by the park, the staff, the café and the animals is a gross understatement. We were also blown away by the weather for our visit with very strong southerly winds and rain for the most part of the day. The fact that the weather didn't really distract us from our mission is indeed testament to the park and its attractions inside and outside and indoors and outdoors.

Shooting wildlife can happen anywhere. The elements involved in finding the animals, birds, bugs, reptiles were on offer both inside and outside the park. Inside of course there are many opportunities to get up close with a camera. You don't need a fancy DSLR (really big camera and lens) to do this (although you will on the Dec 10 course, other Point and Shoot courses will be available in 2012) although it helps.

A few images from our day at the park in November are below.
